Achill’s first all-weather visitor centre and Mayo’s only Aquarium.
The Achill Experience encapsulates many aspects of Island life both present and past.
Achill Experience lets us help you to explore and learn about many the different species of sea creatures from around the waters of Achill Island and from the World beyond.
We display many fascinating stories of Achill’s rich and sometimes tragic history.
We also house the first edition prints of the famous American artist Robert Henri, who lived in Achill during the 1920’s and painted local Children from Pollagh & Dooagh. They are amazing prints and the colours really bring the children to life.

Cork Community Bikes is run by volunteers on a non-profit basis. We opened our do-it-yourself bicycle workshop in Summer 2007 at Cork Foyer for the community to use.
Besides our weekly workshop sessions, we have monthly meetings for the management of the project. Please contact us if you would like to get involved.
The Cork Arts Society, trading as the Lavit Gallery, was set up, in 1963 by a group wanting to promote the arts in Cork City. Currently, as a not for profit, we support artists through our annual exhibition programme. We showcase the work of Cork-based artists primarily and present work by leading Irish and International names. Through the ambitious programme of solo exhibitions and group shows, we promote both emerging and established artists, in addition to stimulating and challenging Cork audiences.
We are a registered charity. No. CHY 13297.
Rediscover Cycling is a bicycle reuse social enterprise located in the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun, Dublin. We are dedicated to building and reconditioning bicycles whilst providing training and employment opportunities.
Rediscover Cycling has been putting life back into unwanted bicycles since 2010. Bikes are collected from recycling centres and we create revamped bicycles to be sold in the Ecostore located in the Rediscovery Centre.
Additionally to reconditioning donated bikes, the bike team has expanded its business to include providing on-site bike clinics to corporate and other organisations to promote sustainable transport.
