To establish, promote and operate community development programmes which will act as a focus and catalyst for community development for the community of Killala and the surrounding areas in the County of Mayo with a view to promoting their social, economic and cultural welfare and to empower disadvantaged groups including the elderly and those affected by rural isolation to effectively participate in a programme of personal and social development. This will be achieved by the company managing, operating and promoting Killala Community Centre for the benefit of the entire community and by providing facilities for recreational; social; educational & cultural activities and by developing the Centre as a base to provide quality family & community support services, as well as carrying out other community development projects in the community.

3: To address the lack of Community and Sporting Facilities in the area
4: To address the issue of Rural Isolation
